This renovation project is unfolding gradually, working room by room at the client’s pace to evolve a much-loved family home that has been lived in for over a decade.

The first phase focuses on the children’s bedrooms and a new home gym, creating spaces that better support the family’s current lifestyle. Later stages will rework the ground floor entrance and family living areas to improve the sense of connection and flow throughout the house.

While the home already has a strong contemporary structure, the design introduces warmer, more tactile materials to soften the existing interior and create a more comfortable and welcoming atmosphere. Natural textures, layered finishes and improved storage will help the spaces feel calmer and more practical for everyday family life.

As the project progresses, key areas including the kitchen, snug and entrance hall will be updated to strengthen the relationship between spaces and enhance the connection to the garden, creating a home that feels both relaxed and enduring for the years ahead.
